CONTUR and DVR are premium brand that uses a fabric call ECONYL to make their shorts, sports bra and sustainable leggings. ECONYL is a recycled nylon fabric. It uses scraps of used nylon including recycled fishing nets to make into woven nylon making the clothing ethical and sustainable.
There is no compromise in quality with ECONYL but it is great to know you are reducing waste and helping protect the oceans! These products are really well suited for yoga wear and the gym and you know you are doing some good for the planet when you shop.
Some of our brands use plastic bottles to make their high performance activewear! The great thing about clothing made from water bottles is that they help the battle against climate change by reducing the need for fossil fuels needed to make the synthetic fabrics from scratch. Fabrics made this way have exactly the same soft feel and strength of conventionally made items. When you wear them you will not notice the difference!
